There’s something about wearing nail polish that makes me feel powerful. It also inspires me to take weird pictures of myself, showcasing my phalanges. Kinda like those cheesy pictures in nail salon of a lady holding a rose in just the right way to show off her french manicure. Mine aren’t as classy though, no roses or champagne glasses here. Also, no airbrushing.
Recently, I came across a $25 Target gift card that was close to a year old. I had been eying Essie’s spring colors, but had no excuse to buy them for myself. As a (super belated) birthday gift to myself, I treated my fingers to three sweet colors using the gift card.
